Service

All Poseidon regulators sent for service are stripped down to the smallest component. All metal parts are cleaned in an Ultrasonic machine, thoroughly rinsed, dried and inspected. All 'O' rings, HP seat and 1st stage diaphragm are automatically replaced as per manufacturers recommendations.

All other components needing replacement ( hoses, damaged covers etc) will be quoted for separately. No work is carried out unless in agreement with the customer.

Cleaning

O2 cleaning carried out to the highest standard. After cleaning all components are subjected to stringent inspection for residue 'hydrocarbons' under UV intensified light. Do not forget the air you are given cannot always be guaranteed to O2 purity, and DIN valves collect dirt. Imperative you check your DV and PV regularly. If in doubt get them cleaned out.

Setting Up

All regulators serviced and set up using manufacturers recommended tools and test procedures, which are strictly adhered to. With years of experience at servicing and setting up Poseidon's, your regulator will perform as new.

Cold Weather ( Ambient air temp 6 deg. or below)

Why not have your regulator environmentally sealed? Not only protects in Winter but offers protection to 1st stage from salt, grime, sand and calcification between services. If you protect your 1st stage the 2nd stage will protect you.Does not apply to the Xstream range as they have TDA   (Thermal Dynamic Antifreeze)

Xstream Regulator

As with all high performance equipment must be checked everytime it is used. No point in remembering when it is too late. Don't forget 'you take care of it, it will take care of you'.

The new Xstream regulator is designed for extreme depths (up to 200m) and extreme cold, will not let you down in the Arctic or at the Equator. It has its own TDA (Thermal Dynamic Antifreeze) built in, so no need for enviromental caps or grease.

DO NOT CLOSE OFF THOSE VALVES

If you close off your cylinder valves on travel and deco mix cylinders ambient pressure

could exceed internal hose pressure at depth and flood 1st stages during ascent, could

result in freeflow and loss of gas. Think, keep switched on.

To maintain optimum performance and reliability your regulator should have a
